If you want to experience the snow of Patagonia, Argentina, and try the top winter sports like skiing and snowboarding but have no experience, the Snow Baptism is the best option for your trip. Start your day watching the first rays of sunlight over the slopes of Cerro Catedral and take your first lesson with breathtaking views. You'll enjoy a fun-filled day with your family or friends, creating unforgettable memories. This tour includes round-trip transfers from downtown Bariloche, 2 hours of ski or snowboard lessons, warm clothing, and equipment. **Available from July to September.** In the morning, we will pick you up with our vehicles at designated meeting points in the city of Bariloche, and from there, we'll begin our journey to the famous Cerro Catedral, the most important ski resort in Latin America. After approximately 45 minutes of travel, during which we’ll skirt the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi to access the Cerro, we’ll arrive at its base. To collect your passes, you’ll need to go to the meeting point at Cerro Catedral, located in the Travesía Building, across from Las Terrazas Shopping Center. Upon arrival, we will head to our offices to introduce the instructors and divide the groups according to the chosen activity. Whether you prefer to practice skiing or snowboarding, the instructors will give you the first tips for what will be an unforgettable day. During the 2-hour lesson, our instructors will teach you how to use the equipment (skis or snowboard, depending on the activity) and help you practice safely and enjoyably. Regardless of your lack of experience, you will enjoy every minute of the adrenaline rush. After the lesson, you will be taken to the restaurants located on the mountain for a comforting lunch (not included). In the afternoon, you will have free time to explore the facilities at your leisure. During this time, you can visit the various shops located at the base of the mountain, take photos of the stunning views, visit the mountain refuge, and taste the famous Bariloche chocolates. At the end of the day, we will meet with our group at the base of the mountain to return to Bariloche after a day filled with unique experiences.
