This private tour will take you to the most prestigious wineries and vineyards in Mendoza, a world-renowned region and one of the global wine capitals. Here, you will have the opportunity to enjoy two wine tastings, guided by expert sommeliers and guides. Mendoza is Argentina’s most important wine region, producing over 75% of the country's wine. Its natural conditions, such as altitude (500 to 1700 meters above sea level), dry climate, rocky soils, and significant temperature shifts between day and night, create the perfect environment for growing grapes. In the morning, a private vehicle will pick you up from your hotel and take you to two wineries in the Luján de Cuyo and Maipú regions, just 20 km from the city. Along the way, your experienced guide will share the history of Mendoza’s wine industry. You’ll also get an explanation at the vineyards to learn about grape cultivation and the work done there. During the tour, we’ll explore Malbec and other grape varieties, see the winemaking equipment, and learn about the journey from grape to bottled wine, as well as the steps to tasting a fine wine.
